About APC
The All Progressives Congress (APC) is a political party in Nigeria, formed on 6 February 2013 in anticipation of the 2015 elections.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has elected a new set of national officers at its National Convention held at Eagle Square, Abuja on March 27, 2026.
Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda was re-elected as National Chairman, while Surajudeen Basiru emerged as National Secretary during the party’s 4th Elective National Convention.
Their emergence, along with other party officials, was announced by the Convention Election Committee under a consensus arrangement.
The convention drew prominent party leaders, including Bola Tinubu, Kashim Shettima, Godswill Akpabio, and Tajudeen Abbas, among others.
Delegates and stakeholders from across the country were also in attendance to elect members of the National Working Committee, who will steer the party’s affairs moving forward.
